Essential oil is not included. Use water with a few drops of water-soluble or diffuser-grade oil — thick or undiluted essential oils clog the ultrasonic plate, which is the most common way these stop working.

At 150ml this is a desktop or bedside diffuser, not a room humidifier. Empty and dry the tank if you leave it unused for a few days.
