Good to Know

Vacuum bags may not be included — check on arrival. It needs proper embossed or textured vacuum bags; ordinary smooth freezer bags will not vacuum properly.

Wipe the bag opening dry before sealing. Moisture at the seal line is the main reason a seal fails.

Let it rest a minute between bags rather than sealing twenty in a row — the element overheats.

Vacuum sealing slows spoilage. It does not make food safe indefinitely — keep it refrigerated or frozen as normal.
