A bedside clock with a large LED display you can read from across the room, plus date, temperature, and an alarm that knows the difference between a weekday and a Sunday.

Five Modes

Clock, date, temperature, night mode and alarm. The buttons are on the back and labelled, so setting it up does not need the manual.

It Dims Itself at Night

Three brightness levels, and night mode drops it automatically between 18:00 and 06:00. Hold the snooze button for three seconds and the screen switches off entirely — which is the answer for anyone who cannot sleep with a glowing display in the room.

Weekday Alarms

Three patterns: Monday to Friday, Monday to Saturday, or every day. Snooze gives 1 to 60 minutes — you choose, rather than being stuck with nine.

Clap to Wake the Display

On battery power it responds to sound — a clap or a tap on the table lights it up. It then sleeps after 16 seconds to save power, while keeping time and settings.

Good to Know

No wall adapter and no batteries included.

On USB power the display stays on constantly and there is no time memory if the power cuts. With AAA batteries fitted, it keeps the time through a power cut and the voice activation works. Many people run both.
