Batteries are not included. Keep the battery compartment closed and keep loose batteries well away from children — swallowed batteries are a medical emergency.

Use the low speed on a newborn, and file in short passes rather than pressing. Baby nails are soft and it takes very little.

An adult must operate this at all times. Never leave it within a child's reach.
