Start low. 100kg is the top of the range, not a starting point — most people cannot close a gripper anywhere near that, and forcing it is how you strain a tendon.

Build up gradually and rest between sessions. If you have wrist or hand pain, or a condition affecting your hands, speak to a doctor before grip training.
